Popis: | The article tells about the key problems of diagnosis and treatment of patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC). Candida albicans causes 75--80% of candidiasis cases. Clinical forms of VVC include: Candida-carrying, acute VVC, chronic (recurrent) vulvovaginal candidiasis (CRVVC). The main diagnostic approaches to the treatment and prevention of recurrence of the disease are described. The authors presented data on the efficacy of the antifungal medication Diflucan in the fight against VVC. |
