Popis:	The current distribution and threat assessment of Murdannia saddlepeakensis Ramana & Nandikar (Commelinaceae), an endemic plant of Saddle Peak National Park, northern Andaman is presented here. The data available from field surveys indicate that this species is Critically Endangered according to the 2011 IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria.
