The objective of this article is to identify and examine working conditions in micro-work platforms, one of the forms of crowdwork, and more specifically, to analyze the perception of workers about the lack of regulation in this form of occupation. To this end, it applies a questionnaire to 34 Brazilian workers from different microtask platforms and, later, conducts in-depth interviews with 4 of them. The exploratory nature of the study allowed to understand that micro-work is still seen as a way to supplement income and that there is great interest in the flexibility made possible by working on digital platforms. At the same time, there is a difference of opinion among workers about the importance or not of regulation. |
