Popis:	An overview of the literature on the treatment of patients with mental disorders in outpatient dental department is provided. The prevalence of this disease among the population of the Russian Federation and the structure of the patients encountered in dental reception were indicated. The role of the dentist in the diagnosis of this pathology through the analysis of existing methods was also indicated. The features of the dental status of these patients and safe pharmacological interactions between drugs and used drugs which plans to use the dentist were defined.
