Popis: | Introduction: Low levels of emotional regulation, resulting from the inability to effectively cope with and manage their emotions, may play a role in the onset of drug use. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effectiveness of teaching emotion regulation based on Gross model on reduction of anger among drug-dependent people. Method: This research is part of a pilot pretest- posttest project carried out on a control group. All the addicts who referred to addiction clinics in the city of Marivan from 2012 to 2013 were examined. Among them, a total of 30 drug-dependent individuals were selected by simple random sampling with the same method which was used in the test and control groups. Results were analyzed using analysis of covariance.
