Popis: | This document seeks to delve into the elements that make up the popular economy based on the social reasons that lead people to take this type of social initiative. The theoretical approach is an extension of research on popular solidarity economy as an effective proposal to promote social development and overcome poverty. For this, a critical analysis of the literature is carried out and the significant aspects that contribute to the construction of the theory under study are studied in depth. The methodology used in this phase of the research is the documentary analysis determining the causes that lead to the generation of this type of social economic decisions. With the document a conceptual approach of popular economy and its different representations is specified, facilitating the understanding of this phenomenon as part of a process of democratization of the market and as a response to exclusion, identifying authors and concepts inherent to it. The review and analysis allow to conjecture that the Popular Economy may represent a means to overcome poverty and improve social development in communities characterized by high levels of unemployment and socioeconomic inequity |
