This study investigates the development and performance of a prefabricated permanent formwork using 3D textile-reinforced cementitious composites (3D-TRCC) and explores the experimental application of pneumatic air mat shoring (PAMS). Herein, we address challenges, such as high labor demands and construction waste, in traditional formwork. The 3D-TRCC exhibited high flexural strength and ductile behavior through multiple cracks during material tests and mock-up experiments, confirming its potential as a sustainable formwork material. The introduction of the PAMS significantly simplified the installation and dismantling of temporary structures, reducing construction time by 25.7 % compared with those of conventional methods. Numerical analysis supported the structural behavior observed in the mock-up tests and provided insights for optimizing design parameters. These findings shows that the combination of a 3D-TRCC permanent formwork with PAMS offers a promising solution for efficient and sustainable construction practices. |
