The objective of the present analysis is to introduce a series of documents related to the history of the Kollacommunity of Finca Santiago, which was the first to receive legal recognition and territorial restoration after the Constitutional Reform of 1994 in Argentina. Censuses, surveys, titles of property and notes directed to ecclesiastical and political hierarchies composed between the end of 19th century and all throughout the 20th century. To some extent, it is considered that these archives allow us to deepen into a history of territorial dispute and struggle for state recognition, beyond a global and regional context that favored ethnic re-emergence during the nineties. |
