Popis: Rainfed dry land for sago palms requires water and proper crop management to grow and produce well. The aim of this research is to create a scenario of sago plant management (the number of plants) in one clump based on the plant water need in the initial stage (seedling), middle stage (sapling), and the final stage of tree formation (mature plant). Prediction of crop water requirements using sago plant coefficient (Kc) in three growth phases and standard evapotranspiration (ETo). Crop coefficient various age compositions, namely the initial stage (0.62), the middle stage (0.77), and the final stage of tree formation (0.98). Standard evapotranspiration was determined using the Cropwat 8.0 application. Scenario analysis uses the Thornthwite-Mather water balance principle. The ideal scenario is indicated by the fulfillment of water needs throughout the year and the month of the surplus is more than the month of the deficit. The results showed that there were eight scenarios (two scenarios in IS, three scenarios in MS, and three scenarios in FS). Based on the results of the scenario, the number of plants in one clump for the early rainfed dryland allows more than two seedlings for the maximum number (2IS scenario), the middle stage contains one sapling plus two initial stages (1MS 1IS scenario), and the final stage of tree formation consists of from one mature plant and one middle stage (1FS 1MS scenario).
