| Popis: | Eye wavefront aberrations have a strong impact on the formation of an image on the retina and vision quality. A relationship has also been found between the aberrations and accommodation, which plays a significant role in visual performance and refraction change. It is hypothesized that not only the correction of lower-order aberrations but also that of higher-order ones can affect the quality of the image. Recently, many research papers have reported on wavefront correction by soft contact lenses in a variety of configurations. Contact lenses are available that may induce or, conversely, neutralize the aberrations.
