ASSESS THE COST AND PROFITABILITY OF RASPBERRY PRODUCTIONUNDER COVER IN THE CONTEXT OF BUILDING COMPETITIVEADVANTAGE ON EXAMPLE OF SELECTED FARM

Popis: The purpose of the study was the comparison of productioncosts and profitability of dessert raspberry undercover in Poland in the years 2015-2016. Investment expenditures for the establishment of raspberry plantations undercover were wery high, an average of 337.6 thousand PLN/ha. Total direct costs of raspberry production (includingtunnel and plantation depreciation) amounted to an average of 142.00 thousand PLN/ha. The most profitable was thecultivation of raspberry Sokolica on polyethylene mulches (the gross margin amounted to 200.4 thousand.PLN/ha),the least varieties of Laszka, without mulches – only 8.1 thousand. PLN/ha. The research found that the production ofraspberries under cover can be profitable.
