Popis:	Bardet–Biedl syndrome (BBS) is an autosomal recessive condition characterized by retinitis pigmentosa, postaxial polydactyly, central obesity, mental retardation, hypogonadism, and renal involvement. BBS is a very rare cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in children. We report a case of a 13-year-old girl with BBS who developed ESRD in early adolescence and underwent robot-assisted renal transplantation surgery. She is the first reported case of robot-assisted renal transplantation surgery in ESRD due to BBS.
