| Popis: | In the title complex, [Mn(C6H4NO2S)2(C12H8N2)] or [MnL2(phen)] (L = 2-mercaptonicotinate and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), the central MnII atom is coordinated by two carboxylic O atoms and two thiolate S atoms of two L ligands and two N atoms from one phen molecule, giving a distorted octahedral geometry. The pyridyl H atoms form strong N—H...O hydrogen bonds with the carbonyl O atoms of the adjacent molecules, generating a chain structure propagating in [100]. |
