Popis: Responses to diet composition may be linked to susceptibility to metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes. Here the authors report that Drosophila melanogaster displays genetic variation in survival on different diets and describe the importance for JNK-pathway and a conserved orphan nuclear hormone receptor tailless in regulating sugar tolerance.
