Integrating these technologies can open new horizons in accessing, preserving, and enhancing audiovisual materials, yet it also introduces significant ethical challenges. For instance, greater accessibility to audiovisual heritage enables a broader audience to explore archives’ resources through new distribution models driven by technological, economic, institutional, and cultural changes.
