Popis: Background. The object of the study is a recursive rejection filter (RF) designed to isolate radar signals of moving targets against the background of passive interference in the form of interfering reflections from stationary or slowly moving objects. The purpose of this research is to synthesize an improved block diagram of a recursive rejection filter with an accelerated transient process at its output. Materials and methods. Based on the method of state variables, which gives an adequate description of filters in the time domain, the RF structure is synthesized in the transient mode, which is improved in order to accelerate the transient process when a passive interference edge arrives. Results. The improvement of the RF structure in the transition mode is achieved by its restructuring, which is carried out by switching the RF output and reverse connections. At the same time, the established values of the decorrelated rejection residuals of the nonrecursive part of the filter are transmitted to the RF output and to the feedbacks, which practically eliminate the “ringing” in the feedbacks caused by the average value and fluctuations of the interference samples and significantly accelerate the transient process at the RF output. A block diagram of the RF being reconstructed in the transient mode by switching recursive links is proposed. Conclusions. Solving the problem of accelerating the transition process of recursive RF allows you to really use the wide possibilities of forming the required characteristics of the RF and their flexible management.
