Dosimetry Verification of Anisotropic Analytical Algorithm (AAA) In Eclipse Treatment Planning System (TPS) Based on Multileaf Collimator Variations

Popis: Research has been carried out on the dosimetry verification of the AAA algorithm on the Eclipse Treatment Planning System based on variations of the multileaf collimator. The study was conducted using energy 6 MV with a dose of 2 Gy. The multileaf collimator was varied into six groups with the size of the irradiation field used was 20 x 20 cm2. The measurement results are in the form of dose deviation value or dose ratio presentation in each irradiation area. The dose deviation for each group of multileaf collimator variation was A 0.86%. Group B 6.8%, Group C -0.43%, group D 0.73%, group E 1.11% and group F 0.84%. The mean value of dose deviation for all forms of multileaf collimator was 1, 67%, the data shows that the dose deviation that occurs is within the ICRU recommended tolerance value of 3-5%. The P-value in the Analysis of variance (ANOVA) also shows that there is no effect of variation in the multileaf collimator on the dose given. The dose calculation process using the AAA algorithm is quite accurate, based on dose deviation data that is below the tolerance range.
