Popis: | This paper presents a steady-state analysis and design methodology for the Class-E² resonant DC/DC converter. The converter is represented in a normalized state-space model that is independent of specifications and real system components, like as inductors, capacitors and resistors. Analytical waveforms are obtained and can be used to design the converter. The main contribution of the paper is the development of an analysis methodology that does not separate the inverter and rectifier stages and ensures the soft-switching on both switch and diode. A step-by-step design procedure is presented, in which the real system components can be obtained based on design abacus. A comparison among theoretical, simulation and experimental results are performed based on a design example. |
