Popis: Basic elastic constants (Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, shear modulus) were determined for several monocrystalline, metallic (Ni, Cu, Pt, Au) nanorods using molecular dynamics with the Sutton-Chen force field. Stress-strain curves were also calculated and discussed.
