Forecasting temperature of the internal combustion engine using adaptive model

Popis: The article presents an algorithm of obtaining prognostic parameters of a dynamic object on the example of forecasting temperature of the internal combustion engine. The value of temperature predicted on the basis of Brown’s adaptive model is used for switching operating modes of the cooling fan. At exceeding admissible value of predicted temperature there is implemented a transition to an operating mode of the fan upon which there is a strengthening of turbulence of a heat carrier. The advanced control of the cooling fan of the internal combustion engine allows to increase the reliability of the engine.
