Mathematical modeling of the transport of hydraulic mixtures in turbulent flow in pipes

Popis: A numerical investigation has been carried out for incompressible turbulent flow in pipes. The model is based on the numerical solution of conservation equations of mass and momentum. The numerical results are validated against existing experimental results. Many turbulent models were analyzed. Numerical results were obtained at different Reynolds numbers. In this article, the movement of multiphase fluids in pipes is modeled on the basis of modern turbulent models. A new method has been proposed to avoid jams.
