Popis: | Today's competition in the countries of the world is affected by globalization and other processes. In the competition, intangible assets such as knowledge or social capital are the keys to the economic development engine. A culture of excellence in education is necessary for the potential ability to act effectively in the field of economic development, but it is not enough to maintain the quality standards for research activities and promote the use of results in the local and global economy. The purpose of this paper is to examine and present the components of the fourth-generation universities and their role in the local and global economy. The research method is descriptive and analytical. Data collection and analysis have been carried out using available resources in academic libraries, authentic journals and higher education functions in such researchers. Several studies and approaches of the present age show that higher education is towards becoming professional and university as a source of valuable knowledge in generating economic growth through public awareness as well as relationships and networking between different sectors of mission and task transmission. The analytical results of this study will help the universities of the country change their approaches from education and research to value added universities of work and practice through the impact of local and global economy and using valuable human capital resources. |
