Popis: | Turkish civilization started entering Islam in 10th century and the Turkish emigrants carried this into literature. Yousif Khass Hajib started writing about Islam principles in the philosophy of states in his book (Kutadoğlu Belak) in 11th century. Turkish literature within Islamic civilization is divided into two parts. Diwan literature and popular literature. It is still existed. Popular songs, proverbs, dances and popular tales were port of popular literature. The most imp ortant popular tales were stories of (Da– Da– kurkat) compiled by popular writers in 14th century. These tales were translated into many languages. This paper deals with examples of these Turkish popular tales and its features. |
