| Popis: | Toll-like receptors (TLR) can interact with intestinal microflora under physiological steady-state conditions. This interaction is required for intestinal homeostasis. Activation of TLRs by ligands of commensal microflora is required for the protection against gut injury and associated mortality. The normoflora ligands induce the expression of proinflammation and anti-inflammation cytokines. The more active normoflora ligand is lipopolysaccharide (LPS). |
