A TE-Polarized EM Scattering Approach for Identifying Scattered Fields by PEMC Slit Embedded in Anisotropic Plasma Medium

Popis: A method to study TE-polarized electromagnetic (EM) plane wave scattering from a perfect electromagnetic conductor (PEMC) slit in an anisotropic plasma medium is explored in this paper. The study focuses on the importance of an analytical EM scattering method, which analyzes integral equations generated by EM scattering problems and employs techniques that enhance the precision and efficiency of equation-solving. Kobayashi Potential (KP) method, which is categorized as an analytical method, is used to quickly and accurately determine EM scattering fields from geometrical shapes. This method uses the properties of Weber-Schafheitlin integrals (WSI) as a mathematical tool to meet the edge and boundary conditions automatically. To validate the calculated results, besides convergence analysis, the resulting scattered field is compared with the scattered field caused by the slit from a perfect electric conductor under similar conditions. Finally, the error of integral calculation and the influence of the problem’s parameters on the configuration’s Echo Width (EW) are elucidated and portrayed.
