Popis:	he method of failure mode, effect and criticality analysis is based on the potential failure analysis, concerning vehicle functioning as a system, and it could be divided into constructional, productive and exploitational analysis. This work presents application of the method of failure mode, effect and criticality analysis to vehicles and some sub-systems and smaller entities in the period of operational service. The quantitative analysis was not done because the failure intensities of vehicle elements were unknown. The elements which have failed most frequently during the exploitation period of five years, have been critically evaluated. The ranking of the most critical vehicle elements was made and the measures which should be taken are given to decrease failure appearance.
