Popis: Hydatid disease, is an infection caused by the larval stage (metacestode) of the cestode Echinococcus granulosus. In humans it may result in a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations ranging from asymptomatic infection to severe, even fatal disease. Echinococcal cysts are found in the liver in approximately 70 % of cases, and the lungs in approximately 25 % of cases. Cardiac hydatid disease is seen in 0.5–5% of total hydatid disease patients, the present case highlights the unusual presentation of Hydatid cyst in a different clinical scenario.
