Popis: TARGET. The purpose of this work is the development of a 3-D model of a power transformer to study the oscillation parameters and determine the technical condition. The technical condition of the power transformer is analyzed by the vibration amplitude spectra formed using the fast Fourier transform algorithm.METHODS. To determine the informative frequencies of objects of complex shape, such as a power transformer, it is advisable to use the finite element method (FEM), implemented using computer simulations in the COMSOL Multiphysics softwareRESULTS. According to the results of the calculation of the frequencies of mechanical vibrations of the magnetic circuit of the transformer, informative frequency ranges were determined to determine the level of technical condition of the power transformer.CONCLUSION. Finite element modeling makes it possible to represent a transformer as a discrete system consisting of components interconnected at nodal points, which will allow modeling transformer defects and determining its vibration parameters in different technical conditions.
