Popis: Highlights Etanercept treatment successfully decreased renal TNF-α levels in male and female SHR. Inhibition of TNF-α did not alter BP in SHR of either sex. Inhibition of TNF-α significantly elevated creatinine and KIM-1 levels in both male and female SHR, indicating TNF-α may be necessary for maintaining renal health.
