Popis: | Background Ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) has become the standard treatment for congenital hydrocephalus. In the neurosurgical practice, it is a common procedure which usually results in low rates of complication. However, some serious complications can occur, including infections, intestinal perforation, and even death. |
