Popis: Chronicles are a type of narrative fiction published as serial stories on the internet (Facebook, Wattpad, etc.). Written by young people of various origins, most often from post-colonial migrations, they describe the daily life in the plurilingual and pluricultural universe of the outskirts of cities. The discourse of linguistic heterogeneity is studied in the discursive spaces (ie the multimodal narrative fiction itself and the exchanges with the readers that surround it) of 16 chronicles. The naming of languages and other forms used to refer to otherness in discourse (translation, metalinguistic comments, typographical games, etc.) are analyzed. The effects sought by these games of linguistic heterogeneity shown in discourse are then studied. Beyond the "effect of reality" linked to the staging of the multilingual urban environment, they allow the construction of an ethos (said and shown) of a multilingual speaker/writer, the narration of interactions with friends and family where languages play a central role in the construction of relationships and identities and finally the development of complex identity games, within digital interactions with readers. The heterogeneity of the repertoires appears to be strongly thematized in these discursive spaces where it is considered as a shared wealth.
