With the large-scale application of radar detection technology in the military field, military combat weapons, such as aircrafts, have been seriously threatened in complex environments. Developing composite materials with the integration of elasticity and microwave absorption performance to achieve high mobility, high cruise and stealth characteristics of military aircrafts whitin radar detection is one of the key measures to improve their survival and military combat capabilities. In this paper, the microwave absorption mechanisms of elastic polymer-based composites are reviewed, and various factors affecting the microwave absorbing and elastic properties are analyzed. The development direction of elastic polymer-based microwave absorbing composites in the future is expected. |
