Popis: Urban space is the place where individual meets collective dimension, environment in which different social practices take place. Mazzacurati suggests a trip into an unprecedented Venice, described and examined in its deepest and less canonical features. Urban space is constituted by shared territories, by areas made of earth and water (Mestre, Danieli Hotel, S.Alvise, Murano, a bar near San Marco and Sacca Fisola), inhabited and used, according to their needs and producing a variety of anthropological phenomena, by Giovanni, Roberta, Ernesto, Carlo, Ramiro e Massimo, who are six Venice citizens. Six different stories, six fragments of existence with a common space as background; six cross sections of a humble and popular reality, hanging between heavenly and infernal, which give voice to a city. One Venice, many Venice.
