Tratamiento de anemia con eritropoyetina humana recombinante durante el embarazo en el trasplante renal

| Popis: | Se presentó el caso de una paciente de 24 años de edad y raza blanca con antecedentes de nefritis túbulo-intersticial crónica, por lo cual llega a la insuficiencia renal crónica grado IV. Se mantuvo 2 años en métodos dialíticos, recibió un trasplante renal de donante vivo y, 3 años después, con cierto deterioro de la función renal se le diagnosticó un embarazo de 20 sem con una anemia severa multifactorial. Se le indicó tratamiento con eritropoyetina humana recombinante, de fabricación nacional, a dosis de 50 kg/2 veces por semana hasta un mes después del parto. Se logró una evolución satisfactoria del embarazo y la función del trasplante renal sin aparición de efectos secundarios en la madre ni el recién nacido.The case of a 24-year-old white female patient with history of chronic tubulointerstitial nephritis that led her to chronic renal failure grade IV was reported. Dyalitic methods were used for 2 years and she received a kidney transplant from a live donor. 3 years later, with some deterioration of the renal function, she was diagnosed a pregnancy of 20 weeks with a severe multifactorial anemia. Treatment with Cuban human recombinant erythropoietin was indicated at doses of 50 ukg twice a week up to a month after delivery. A satisfactory evolution of pregnancy was attained and the function of the kidney transplant had no secondary effects either in the mother or in the newborn infant. |
