Popis: Beach volleyball is an intermittent sport composed of moments of intense physical performance due to the rallies, that is, playing time, with small intervals of rest between them. This feature requires players to develop physical qualities such as strength and cardiorespiratory endurance necessary for the correct execution of fundamental technics and the development of offensive/ defensive actions with maximum performance throughout the game. This study aimed to analyze the impact of an intervention program on the neuromotor capacities of muscle strength and cardiorespiratory endurance in beach volleyball athletes. This is a quasi-experimental quantitative study, in which 11 athletes were submitted, before and after intervention, to the following tests: vertical jump; medicine ball throw; 20-meter (Beep) cardiorespiratory endurance. The intervention circuit lasted two months, applying the strength exercises, followed by the endurance exercises with a one-minute rest from one session to the other. It was verified that the neuromotor capacities analyzed in this study obtained significant values (p = 0.0001) in all the tests when compared to the pre-intervention results. It was concluded that the intervention program showed an increase in muscle strength and cardiorespiratory endurance in beach volleyball athletes.
