Popis: | Introduction:In this study, we wanted to evaluate the variability relationship between the criteria used in the disease course of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in a group of patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA).Methods:We assessed 104 patients who were diagnosed with grade 2-4 knee OA and fifty healthy individuals. Their sociodemographic characteristics were recorded. Maudsley Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI) was used to measure the type and extent of obsessive-compulsive symptoms, Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) was used to assess emotional status, Short Form-36 (SF-36) was used to assess the quality of life, visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to assess pain severity and Western Ontario McMaster Questionnaire Index (WOMAC) and Lequesne index were used to assess physical activity.Results:BAI was higher in old patients (13.6±9.94) than in young patients (12.4±5.91) and healthy individuals (7±6.4) (p |
