This study aimed to analyze, based on the Brazilian scientific literature, the current work configurations, as well as to identify which occupational risks and hazards workers have been exposed to and their interface with social protection. It is an integrative literature review developed in SciELO, LILACS and MEDLINE databases. The initial search resulted in 323 articles, and 135 of them were considered suitable for analysis, since they met all the predefined eligibility criteria. The results showed that the changes in work configurations reflect the increase in workers’ exposure to occupational risks and hazards, which happens at the same time as a systematic dismantling of social protection in Brazil. In conclusion, there is a scenario of progressive repression of labor rights, lack of social protection and precarization of labor. |
