THE ROMANIAN SCHOOL DURING THE 2020 PANDEMIC

Popis: Among the effects of the pandemic in the linguistic terminology, beside the major ones in the medical sphere, many adjacent semantic areas suffered various modifications, especially school and education. In this particular domain, the consequences activated right in the first phase of COVID, resulting in new organization of all levels of schools and education and then in the vocabulary, where new words and expressions were registered: învățământ/lecții on-line ‘online teaching/lessons’, antepreșcolar ‘­pre-pre-school child’, cursuri față în față ‘face-to-face lessons’, școală/scenariu hibrid/ă ‘hybrid school/scenario’, școală „smart” ‘smart school’, învățământ paralel ‘parallel teaching’, analist comportamental ‘behavioural analyst’, scenariu galben ‘yellow scenario’ and so on, among which, at least some of them, should be introduced in the new edition of DEX.
