This article focuses on the topical issue of younger generation development in the context of digitalization, because global digitalization affects all aspects of the development of human society. The younger generation is very receptive and readily accepting these innovations, therefore, young people are at the middle of attention of the digital renewal of society. The purpose of this article was to examine the psychological and pedagogical aspects, and to predict the developmental difficulties of children and young people in the conditions of digitalisation. Methodology and results. The study used the method of pedagogical forecasting. The analysis of modern research positions, normative documents regulating changes in education, new generalized experience allowed us to formulate the expected risks and contradictions of the development of the younger generation. It is important to talk about them at the beginning of digitalization in order to avoid or offer solutions. The author emphasizes that it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of growing up of the younger generation of people in the digital renewal process of society, and also to use the possibilities of digitalization purposefully for the benefit of children and young people. Conclusion. The article notes that the process of education of the young generation in a digital society should reveal the meanings of a person’s life, promote awareness of opportunities for self-development and gain experience in activities, including communication and interaction with other people. Digital technologies must be integrated in a person’s life, the leading values of human development must be the basis for the implementation of digitalization. The trajectory of development of the human society in the context of future and the philosophy of attitudes towards the human potential of the people younger generation depend from our choice today. |
