COVID-19 vaccine (CV) acceptance rates remain suboptimal in children. Emergency departments (EDs) represent a unique opportunity to improve vaccination rates, particularly in underserved children. Little is known about the presence or reach of CV programs in US EDs. We assessed, via a cross-sectional survey of pediatric ED physicians, the number of EDs offering CVs to children, the approximate numbers of vaccines administered annually, and the perceived facilitators/barriers to vaccination.
