| Popis: | Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) affects the majority of hospital wards. In the context of a Continuing Medical Education Field Training course, a multidisciplinary group of expert healthcare professionals addressed the issue of CDI, producing a summary document to be submitted to the scientific community. The expert group was composed of healthcare professionals with an internal medicine background (Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics) with the contribution of a Microbiologist for the laboratory diagnostic aspects. During the draft of the document, various aspects of the problem were evaluated and developed. |
