Popis: | Nicolae Filipescu was a conservative, action-oriented politician who pleaded for idealism in politics. His belief was that the era of liberal mimetism could only be overcome by a true idealistic reaction, which meant deeply assuming an ideal in politics, not just the option for a change in the surface of public life. He is one among the few Romanian authors who claim that politics of the idea is more important than the policy of deed, and that means a party policy that has the right philosophy and morality. However, Filipescu's idealism is vitalist, Anglo-Saxon orientated and does not deny the idea of material success, but on the contrary. |
