Popis: Histone mimicry of viral components is a strategy to subvert host factors for virus replication. Here, the authors show that an acetylated histone-like motif of the small Hepatitis Delta Antigen (S-HDAg) interacts with the chromatin remodeler BAZ2B to recruit the DNA-dependent RNA polymerase II for HDV RNA replication.
