The article analyses the resilience of the population based on the results of a Selective observation of the health status of the Russian population in 2023. Based on the methodology of socio-economics and human social biology, we proposed to assess the resilience of the population through the experience of its health. The authors have identified socio-demographic groups of the population demonstrating different strength of resilience, as well as identified social risks contributing to its change. It is concluded that the most resilient are the younger, educated, who do not have financial difficulties and have a stable family status. Occupational (field of employment) and communication (social isolation) risks, as well as material (threat of poverty) and physiological (bad household habits) risks, have a significant impact on the resilience of the population, while reproductive risk and the risk of destructive behaviour are less significant. The results obtained can be used both at the individual level to form some effective behavioural strategies, and at the macro-levels in to create a social policy. |
