Popis: | The article analyzes the determinants and methods of designing an educational environment in accordance with innovations in modern pedagogy and design. School interiors and their contents affect creative activity and provide opportunities for teachers and students; they should contribute to the implementation of modern educational technologies and the development of creative thinking, social skills of cooperation and interaction in children and adolescents. The evolution of educational environment design is presented as a whole, and school furniture is considered as its main equipment. Particular attention is paid to the human-centered approach, which allows considering not only ergonomic requirements, but also the characteristics of the physical, mental, social development of students and requirements for the organization of the educational process. The study enabled us to identify the most important qualities of this physical spatial component of the educational environment, such as ergonomics, flexibility, transformability, mobility, and versatility. Consideration is given to the algorithm and technologies of classroom equipment design. |
