Popis:	Many portuguese writers of the 19th-century read Flaubert in French, the original language. Some, specially those who wereo realist and naturalist writer, were directly influenced by Flaubert's Madame Bovary or indirectly by Eça de Queiroz' s novel, O Primo Bazílio. This paper pretends to show how it happened in Julio Lourenço Pinto, Reis Damaso and Luis de Magalhães's works.
