Treatment of Maxillary Canine and Premolar Transposition: Case Report

Popis: Transposition is a dental anomaly manifested by a positional interchange of 2 adjacent teeth within the same quadrant of dental arch. The most frequent tooth transposition seen in the literature is maxillary canine-first premolar [Mx4-3] transposition. The aim of this study was to present treatment of a 14 year old girl who had transposed maxillary left canine and maxillary left premolar teeth. In this case although the transposed canine and premolar teeth were kept in order, satisfying esthetic and stable results were obtained.
