Brazil has adopted several policies to welcome and protect immigrants, however, the lack of applicability of legal provisions has become a serious social problem. Immigrants are people who flee from their country of origin to other nations in the expectation of better living conditions. In view of the above, the main objective of this research is to critically analyze the lack of commitment of the Brazilian government to the immigrants who live here with an emphasis on the Venezuelan population that has fled their country due to the economic crisis and seen in the Brazil a possibility of resumption, and the documentary bibliographical research is approached as a methodology, based mainly on books and articles ready. Although the Brazilian State shows itself to be welcoming and supportive, there are obstacles that hamper the assistance and social integration of immigrants who are based on norms. |
