| Popis: | The purpose of the article is determined by the increasing importance and necessity of tutor activity in the context of digital transformation in education system, also in the educational process of students with disabilities. The article provides a retrospective analysis of tutor activity overseas and in national education system. Authors consider different approaches to the definition of the tutors concept and the content of tutor activity at various historical stages, changing of the tutors role in the conditions of institutional and social changes in society, methodological aspects at organization of different types of education.
