Popis: We present an overview of the history of teachers' initial formation in Spain, trying to link each of the prescribed training plans paradigmatic approach, model or tradition on which it rests: the traditional paradigm, the technological or positive, practical or naturalistic and critical or reconstructionist. Finally, we can’t overlook the competences training model as the European Space of Higher Education involves a paradigm shift, a new methodology in the initial formation of the future teachers.
